2009.03.19 Gekido Tour
announced two French dates on July 11th and 13th. It was also stated that more
dates will be announced very soon.
2009.01.10 New album expected to come out on March, 4th 2009. No other details are available, but it's known that it will be published by Delicious Deli Records.
2008.11.12 New single announced:
HORIZON will come out on December, 3rd and will be available in tewo
versions. The limited one will feature a bonus DVD with the PV of the
title-track and two tracks; the normal edition will only contain three tracks.
Both will have a random cart chosen between 4. The prices will be:
1,680¥ (about 13.50€/17.61$) for the limited
edition and 1,260¥ (about 10€/13.20$) for the normal one. In addition, a
gallery totally dedicated to ZERO and Karyu has been recently put online on ESP

the tenth anniversary of D'espairsRay.
2008.06.19 New maxi-single. It will be entitled KAMIKAZE and will come out in two versions: CD and CD+DVD (limited edition). The CD version will feature three tracks: KAMIKAZE, Scissors and BRILLIANT –Live 30 Dec.07 - , plus a random photocard of a member. This version will cost 1,260¥ (about 11,68$). The limited edition with DVD will contain two songs (KAMIKAZE and Scissors) and the DVD will include performances taken from the recent “ROCKSTAR Taste of Chaos 2008” tour, with live performances of TRICKSTəR, Garnet, SCREEN, SIXty∞NINe e 「浮遊した理想」 (Fuyuushitarisou). This edition will cost 2500¥ (about 23$) and it’s said to feature also an exclusive photoset of the band taken from their live at Long Beach Arena on the occasion of the already mentioned Taste of Chaos.
2008.05.22 New event announced. American Syndrome will take place on June 29, 2008. The two bands that will perform together with D'espairsRay will be MUCC and The Underneath. More infos can be found on the OHP of the event.
2008.04.19 D'espairsRay will perform in two other events. One is called Around30 and will take place at Shibuya O-EAST on May, 22nd. It will feature also performances by: Itanji, Jully, ayabie, BABYLON, Mix Speaker's,Inc., Moran and many others. The other event will take place on June, 14th at AKASAKA BLITZ and there will be performances also by MUCC and Plastic Tree.
2008.04.08D'espairsRay will take part in hide memorial summit, an event to commemorate X JAPAN's guitarist who passed away exactly ten years ago. It'll take place on May, 3rd and 4th and it will feature exhibitions by artists like: hide with Spread Beaver, T.M.Revolution, DJ OZMA, RIZE, Maximum the Hormone, Phantasmagoria, Versailles, who will perform on May, 3rd. On May, 4th there will be performances by X JAPAN, LUNA SEA, Dir en Grey, Oblivion Dust, MUCC, the underneath, heidi. and, of course, D'espairsRay.
2008.03.11 New single out on May 14th. The release will be entitled BRILLIANT and will contain 2 tracks: Brilliant and another one still untitled. The price will be 1050 yen (about 7 Euros/ 10 US Dollars).
2007.11.24 The group will take part in Taste of Chaos 2008, a festival that will go through 46 american cities. More details coming soon.
2007.10.11 New event for D'espairsRay
on January 20th. They will perform in "Zy. stylish wave ILLUSION'08" (from
Janury 19th to 20th at Zepp Tokyo) with other groups like: Plastic Tree, Moi dix
Mois (for the second time with Despa), lynch. and Sadie
